LA Football Stadium Update! AEG to Build Stadium

The City of Industry is not really Los Angeles. There has been a group that has proposed building a stadium in the City of Industry, California, but now there are some big boys who are stepping up to the plate.

The group is AEG. They own the Staples Center and developed LA Live in downtown Los Angeles. And now they want to build a stadium in…

Downtown Los Angeles!

Right across from the Staples Center and the LA Convention Center.

The proposal is for a $750 million stadium to be built with ufabet เข้าสู่ระบบทางเข้า a retractable roof, 40 field level suites, and a total of 218 luxury boxes. The name of the facility is currently dubbed as the “Los Angeles Event Center” and AEG is targeting an opening date of August 15th, 2015.

There are still many things that need to be done before approval is granted. First there needs to be approval by the NFL and also AEG needs to find a team that will agree to move to Los Angeles. Also, AEG is currently working on a sponsor for naming rights to the stadium. These are all very big hurdles that need to be crossed. AEG has not commented on any teams that they are potentially negotiating with.

The stadium would have a 72,000 person capacity with the ability to expand to 76,250 for special super sized events such as the Super Bowl, World Cup, NCAA Football Games, and the NCAA Final Four.

AEG is not looking for a college team to be a tenant at the stadium. They believe they will have the stadium booked for 50 events each year without a collegiate team, and they are sustainable with that number. They are already looking to land big events such as the 2022 World Cup and the NCAA Final Four.
